Matt Foreman

Co-Founder and Principal Architect

Matt is a co-founder at Shield 7 Consulting and serves as the firm’s Principal Architect, leading Shield 7’s penetration testing and vulnerability assessment teams. Matt has over 16 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry ranging from system integration to large scale penetration testing. He has previously worked for Check Point Software in a security engineering capacity and as a solutions architect. He previously was a mentor instructor for SANS, specifically for the GPEN certification and holds many additional certifications from Offensive Security and other vendors. 

Matt has been married for 16 years and has two children. He enjoys hunting and archery.
